The solution is based on seamlessly integrated COTS products: AINS eCase for Correspondence Management; Documentum DM and RM for content and records management; and Oracle as the RDBMS. Support for SQL will be provided in the future. The underlying content/document and records management system, Documentum, is certified for records management (reference: DoD 5015.2-STD Compliant Product Registers). Based on open, flexible and scalable architecture, the solution can easily be expanded from a few users to an enterprise-level system. No code development is required.


 

The system is web-based and Section 508 compliant. User functions are available through MS Internet Explorer in conjunction with applicable security and access privileges. The architecture provides effective and efficient enterprise correspondence management, records management, document tracking, imaging; and tracking of processed correspondence and documents.
