Correspondence management workflow control has both pre-set workflows and ad hoc workflow, user design capability; graphic workflows display the exact location and status of the assignments. Assignments may be made by office, group and/or individual. Allows parallel and loop-back workflow paths. Provides automatic email notifications and information copies.
Congressional Workflow
CATXpress uses electronic folders with flexible workflows mapped to business processes and provides the ability to assign and route documents throughout the organization. All journal entries, original correspondence, drafts, response documents and related history are incorporated into a single folder for easy and efficient retrieval.

Tracking for each activity, each time it is routed (calculates elapsed time per user/reviewer and tracks from/to dates each time it is routed)

Complete security and audit trail reports
Calculated total time to complete correspondence
User definable approvals and electronic signatures

Correspondence in any form (electronic document, email, fax, image and scanned) may be entered into the system, identified according to user-defined and intrinsic file and document properties. You can customize the document database by adding text, date and numeric fields.

Once entered into the system the correspondence may be assigned to action officers for tracking, processing, and reporting according to user-defined workflows, associated tasks and responsibilities, and access authority.

Workflows can be configured according to single or multiple routing paths based on the type, sensitivity and security of the correspondence. Where the correspondence mandates approvals and/or signatures of senior officials or administrative officers, the workflow can be easily and quickly configured to map the requirements accordingly. Information copies can be sent automatically to supervisors and administrative officers on a pre-defined basis.
